Wheel Words
Today we played a game of wheel words. It helps us with our learning and our thinking. It always help me with my vocabulary. And you can also learn and find new words. We had 10 minutes to try and figure out as many words as you can with the letter in the middles. My middle letter was M. I managed to find out 15 words all together.

Maths Week Scale Drawing'
Last week LS2 has been doing scale drawings for Maths Week. This is my first time doing this and I think I've done a good job. This year I decided to draw a animated transformer. Our ratio was the same as last year which is 1:2. The hardest part was for me was drawing the enlargement which I need to improve on. The best part about scale drawing was coloring it in because it made the picture look more alive and stand out. If I was to do this again in secondary school such as graphics class I think I will need to work on drawing my enlargement .

It looks like most of my group likes to play hand soccer a lot. This week for kiwican was fun.

Pecha Flickr
Link to Screencastify.
This term so far, we have been doing Pecha Flickr in writing session. It was a lots of fun to me because it helped with my adjectives , nouns, and many more structures. We also learnt Structure and order a Narratives. We all had to pick a topic to write the narrative for. My partner Miki and I chose to write a narrative about the ocean with people drowning in the water. Working collaboratively really helped me a lot with my learning together with people. This is the first time i have used this structure in writing. I think this structure will be very helpful to some people with their writing. Miki helped me by putting the photos in the narrative and I did some of the writing. We had to think of sentences to describe the photo you dragged into the Pecha Flickr.

Kiwi Can
This week for kiwi can we did goal settings. First off we started talking about what should you celebrate for achieving your goal. I said you can just have a party and invite your family and friends because they have all been behind your back along your journey to achieve the goal. And then we got into our enegiser. The game we played was called snatch. So we all had to stand in a circle and, Mr Matt puts cones in the middle. So when the cones are in the middle we have to turn around. So once Mr Matt said go we all had to around and tried to pick up one cone. At the end their were only two people left. It was me and Carl the only two left. It was a close but, unfortunately Carl loss. Because one of the rules was do not dive in and grab the cone. You have to step in and grab it. After that we played golden child. We all had fun. It was only Mr Matt here today, because Ms Lily is sick.

Rugby League - Interschool.
Today was the Rugby League Inter schools. This wasn't an usual tournament because there was only 3 teams including us. The teams were Pt England, Sylvia Park, and Panmure Bridge. Instead of playing the team once we played them twice. We were hoping to at least win two of our games which we did. Our first game was against Sylvia Park. We made meters and broke the deference line. At the end we won making it 4-3. We had a bye then we versed Pt England. Pt England had a big team, but that didn't change our hopes of giving up. We did good on attacking but we lacked defense and lost 7-2. We were the only team out of Sylvia Park and us to score against Pt England which we were happy about. Our third game was against Sylvia Park. We communicated to each other on defense and won the game 7-3. Our last game was against Pt England. We tried to improve from our first game against Pt England. Our main focus was defense which we did pretty well on, but we missed some of our tackles. We attacked Pt England strong and at the end the score was 6-3. I was happy because I scored 2 tries (1 try against Pt England, and 1 try against Sylvia Park). Thank you to Mr Ogilvie for coaching and preparing us and also supervising us today And also thank to the boys who were in the team for supporting each other.

Cook Island Week
As part of celebrating Cook Island language week LS2 have been practicing basic phrases in Cook Island. To get better at pronouncing the phrases we used a site called Digital Dialects. On this site we were also able to learn the name of fruits and vegetables in Cook Island. After that we were to create a conversation with a partner in the Cook Island language. I did this with Julian. I found this task fun and interesting because I was able to learn a new language and have fun while doing it. To hear our recording click on this Link.
