Tech - Food

Today we have returned to the cooking rooms to learn how to cook and be safe when in the kitchen. For today's session we made butter chicken. It was served with rice and it was amazing. Today I worked with Jeremiah because of the absence of both our partners. Firstly we diced the chicken into pieces. Secondly we fried the chicken while our partners finely diced the onions. After that we took out the chicken and fried the onions until they were translucent. We then added the butter chicken sauce, the already fried chicken, and 1 cup of cream. After adding them we let it simmer then turned the heat off when bubbles started appearing in the food. After this session we only have two sessions left until the next orientation

Instructions.
Step 1-  Dice the chicken
Step 2 - Fry the chicken until brown
Step 3 - Take the chicken out into the bowl.
Step 4 - Fry Onion , add sauce chicken, with the cream.
Step 5 - Serve with rice.

Tech - Food

Today at tech i worked with Lyric to complete on how to bake chocolate muffins. The hardest thing to do making a Chocolate Muffin was to mix well because the flour would be lumpy if we didn't, and not to mix it too long because if we did the muffin's wouldn't puff up. At the end of the making the muffins, My partner Lyric and I manage to make a proper Chocolate Chip muffins. If I made these again I wouldn't change the ingredients because the muffins taste very nice and I wouldn't change the baking time because they rose nice.

The measurements:
1 1/2 cup of self rising flour

1/2 a cup of milk
1/4 tsp of vanilla essence
1 egg

Equipment:
Teaspoon
scrapper
silver big bowl
and an oven...

Oven temper:
180 for 15 minutes.
